Information on White Rock
Known for its small city atmosphere and personality, White Rock
is bordered on the south by the United States and shores of Semiahmoo
Bay, on the north, east and west by the district of Surrey. The
sheltered, shallow waters of Semiahmoo Bay make the beach the
warmest ocean beach in mainland British Columbia and it is ideal
for swimming and windsurfing. The area boosts a warm dry climate
with more hours of sunshine then Vancouver.
White Rock itself is the most established area on the Peninsula
and, traditionally, has proven to be attractive to older residents
due to the closeness of all life’s necessities. The community
is located adjacent to the Douglas border crossing, one of the

St.) between North Bluff and Five Corners at Buena Vista Avenue.
